As a Creative Director, Samantha champions for beauty and culture in everything she does. She has over 15 years of professional experience leading teams in providing cross-functional creative solutions for multi-channel, multi-disciplinary projects. From ideation through completion, she works closely with various partners to deliver strong campaigns, ensuring that each stakeholder gets the most out of every engagement.

Whether through a visual art exhibition, a multi-day sensory experience, or a multi-episode documentary-style series showcasing creativity and craft, Samantha creates opportunities for artists to express themselves and share their stories with broad audiences around the world.
Community Building
Samantha has an uplifting and inclusive approach to activating communities. She ideates cultural programming initiatives and employs community engagement strategies (cerebral and social), and constantly brings together people who have shared vision and values. She builds brands and garners publicity for her clients by presenting culturally relevant events and by creating compelling content.
Cultural Consultation
While successfully pursuing her path as a creative professional in various agency and in-house settings, Samantha has also simultaneously followed her passion for arts curation and event production. She works in a consultative and directorial capacity with a wide array of artists, musicians, and vendors to produce large scale programs that appeal to contemporary audiences.

More About Samantha
Samantha Katz is a multidisciplinary Creative Director, Arts Curator, Community Builder, and Cultural Consultant with expertise in facilitating conversations and immersive experiences.
She has produced major arts programs, like Bushwick Open Studios – one of New York’s largest cultural events (featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Art in America, and many more) as well as Graffiti Gone Global – a prominent street art fair during Art Basel Miami.
She also developed Created Here, an online platform that empowers creators by connecting them with local consumers and art enthusiasts. Visitors to the site can discover artists, designers, craftspeople, and musicians doing great things in their own neighborhoods. In addition to this digital hub, Created Here is currently in production as a TV series that follows Samantha and her crew as they travel the country documenting creative communities around the U.S.
From 2019-2021 Samantha curated the arts program for Selina Hotels, the fast-growing lifestyle and experiential hospitality brand with over 100 locations worldwide. In this role, she developed the company’s expanding brand, introducing regional artwork and unique design influence to each property.
One of her most recent endeavors involves collaborating with experts across multiple disciplines to develop a prototype for Burning Man and the Black Rock Arts Foundation defining what the future of community could look like, as it is represented by physical cultural, and artistic installations on the Fly Ranch property in the Black Rock Desert.
She previously served as the Director of Culture and Community at NeueHouse where she ideated, curated, and executed innovative brand experiences across a diverse range of highly immersive channels, including in-person, digital, and offsite events.
Currently, Samantha is the VP of Programming + Experience with Summit Series. Through a series of invitation-only events, Summit Series fosters a global community of entrepreneurs, academics, athletes, artists, astronauts, authors, chefs, engineers, explorers, philanthropists, spiritual leaders, scientists, and beyond.
